Freedom !!!

We are free !!!!   We tested negative and we were given the wristbands and paperwork to 'leave' the cell and be free amongst the locals.  We left this morning and haven't stopped walking since.  The fresh air, the blue sky, the friendly faces…… what is not to love.  We grabbed a good Australian coffee and then hit the streets of Sydney - seeing all the old and some of the new sights and just enjoyed being back in our home town.

The boys had a soccer ball and pump and hit the parks with a vengeance !!  That sort of park and freedom is just available in India (of HK for that matter) and the grass was in such good condition that it was like heaven to these two boys.  The glorious winter day made for perfect weather to just 'enjoy' the city.  We have only moved down the road into another apartment until the house is finished being painted, carpets, floorboards etc.  Hopefully early July we will be 'home' - albeit camping in our house until the shipment arrives.

Our first thoughts on being free  :

• Oooohh, it's a little bit chilly…...
• Jeez, how expensive is it  ??
• How blue is that sky?
• How good is this coffee, steak, milkshake……..
• How empty are the city streets in this strange Covid time ?
• How good is Australia !!!
